Event OS

The operational backbone we run real events on.

The EventOS booking-form builder, with drag-and-drop fields for a live edition.
Overview

Not a project for a client — the platform behind them.

EventOS is Nanobyte’s own event-operations platform: the system behind the public event sites we build. Events, editions, tickets, orders, booking forms, promoters, payments and door check-in live in one backend, and each production keeps its own public identity on top.

It exists because we kept rebuilding the same operational layer event after event. Now the layer is a product, and every new event starts from it instead of from zero.

The challenge

Every event is different. The operations are not.

A dance convention, a festival edition and a race-day run look nothing alike from the outside — but behind the scenes they all sell tickets, collect participant details, take payments and check people in at a door.

The challenge was drawing that line correctly: keep the public experience fully custom per event, while the operational machinery underneath stays shared, tested and reusable.

What it covers

One backend, the whole event lifecycle.

  • Events and editions with their own pages and sale states
  • Ticket types, pricing and availability
  • Drag-and-drop booking forms per edition
  • Orders, payments and refund handling
  • Promoter management and settlement
  • Artists, lineups and schedules
  • Coupons and campaign links
  • Door check-in with QR validation
  • Reports across events and editions
  • Hotel and accommodation options where an event needs them
Running on it

Each keeps its own brand and public site; the backend is the same platform.

Result

New events start from a platform, not from scratch.

Multiple productions run on the same backend today, each with its own identity in front.

For organisers, that means an event can be live and selling in days — with operations, reporting and the door already solved — while the budget goes into the experience, not the plumbing.
